β Hey, I hope all is good. TOOL: Instagram Edits is GO! I mentioned previously that Instagram's new Video Editing app Edits was available for free pre-order. A potentially handy alternative to the 'here today might be gone tomorrow' CapCut. Well now it's available to actually use. I am still testing it, I will let you know what I think in the next edition. π Get it here.β CREATIVITY: Blur your shot If you are stuck where to add text in your talking head videos, maybe there isn't enough space next to you or you simply want a quick background to layer it over - then blur your headshot. Most Editing tools have a blur filter. (In ScreenFlow go to Video, Filters, Gaussian blur) So you can easily flip between this: and this with text over as you speak under it: π See a clip here.β NICHE DOWN: Smart Pizza Marketing I love how Bruce has created an intersection of two niches, Local Marketing AND Pizza. Pizza videos and behind the scenes restaurant videos on YouTube are HUGE so by focussing his channel (and business) on Pizza he has the visual, mouthwatering, view getting topic of Pizza - plus his marketing angle as the go to guy for Pizza shop growth. π See channelβ Can you do something similar on YouTube with your genre of clients? Best Online Business deals for VideoHeroes on now: β HOME MOVIES - Film your elderly relative Away from business for a second. I regret not filming passed away relatives more. RIP. Take the chance to record an interview with a loved relative or friend for the future. It's easy to grab random clips of people having fun but doing an interview can really drill down on their life and life lessons. A couple of examples here - technically not perfect, nevermind, just try to capture good audio by finding a quiet spot, getting the camera close enough (better to use a mic), turn off any noisy gadgets / fans in the room and don't overpower with music. (Click the pics to view) β iPhone AI powered video and photo search I am liking the new Apple Intelligence features. You know sometimes how hard it is to find b-roll in your iPhone photo library amongst all those hundreds (1000's) of videos and photos we tend to have. (nb. Always backup) Like that clip of you speaking on stage or an image of your office set up buried amongst your holiday snaps. Well it's way easier now. Check this article (you need the correct iOS a recent iPhone model) and give it a go! π Read articleβ β Jules βVideoHeroβ β β β β β β
