😮 Big Facebook Video News

Hey,

I hope all is good!

Facebook have dropped a bomb on Live Video

In their words:

  • Beginning on February 19th, new live broadcasts can be replayed, downloaded or shared from Facebook Pages or profiles for 30 days, after which they will be automatically removed from Facebook.
  • Live videos currently older than 30 days will be removed from Facebook. Before your archival live videos are deleted, you will be notified by email and in the app, and from then you’ll have 90 days to download or transfer your content.
  • We are launching new tools to make downloading your previous live videos easier.

We say: Better download your videos and re-upload to YouTube if you want longevity.

How will this effect where you choose to stream?

My kind of video

I have very recently been checking out an AI app called Blaze that is blowing up right now.

What grabbed me immediately was the upbeat but simple sales video that keeps ticking along nicely.

Notice the quick cutting between talking head and screen, added text to highlight major points, music in time to the cuts. Always moving.

Plenty to implement here in your own videos.

I've said it before but ..

If your business involves a process or transformation that works well on screen set up your phone on a tripod and timelapse it.

This works great for short-form content that grabs attention and is very popular.

If you have clients teach them how to do a timelapse, and make it regular content.

Here's an example on Instagram from a flooring company with 7,800 likes!
