My iPhone went nuts ...

Hey,

I hope all is good.

So I just got back from 2 weeks vacation in Japan, what an amazing country!

Stay tuned as in the next 'Viewsletter' I will share some video learnings from my trip.

In the meantime:

Keep cutting

I love how Big AL keeps his talking head moving. We all probably make videos like this sometimes, heavy on a talking head, not much to show in terms of b-roll.

But there is no need to just sit there like a lemon.

This YouTuber records in chunks, cuts, moves, talks, cuts, moves to keep it interesting.

By walking and talking, with an occasional pause he creates extra movement.

Prime Day - Video deals

Amazon Prime day is back with some great deals for video creators.

Search the camera & photo category (obviously)

In the US I immediately noticed 33% off a DJI Osmo Action 4 camera, it's not the latest model but surely a steal at $199! It's 41% off in the UK.

It's worth checking Amazon in your own country to see specific details.

Clients can do it for you

Don't forget that everyone has a camera these days.

It's easy to think you have to physically go out and film clients or customers to create content.

Send them your questions and get them to record clips themselves.

Then up the quality by adding nice packaging when you edit. Meaning backgrounds, headlines, captions, branding.

This recently acquired company has tools to do this, study how they work and adapt the ideas for yourself.

AI Ads going crazy

Via Mashable.

The Kalshi AI Ad that featured in the NBA finals took only $2,000 and two days to create.

Original quotes to make the Ad came in at 6- 7 figures, but the video was made at a fraction of the cost using Google's VEO 3 by YouTuber PJ Ace.

Does this inspire you to create something that stands out in your market?

Experienced a Haptic trailer?

Have you seen the world's first Haptic movie trailer?

It's for the film F1 and your iPhone will do crazy things as you watch it to match the action on screen.

You need to search for 'F1 The Movie' on the TV App on your iPhone.

I wonder if Apple will open this feature to creators.

πŸ‘‰ Here's more of an explanation

Zombies anyone?

The cult horror flick 28 Years Later currently in cinemas was partially shot on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

But why? The video above is a good explainer.
